When You Doubt Yourself: The Silence of Fear in Entrepreneurship.
When You Doubt Yourself: The Silence of Fear in Entrepreneurship.
Few things weigh as much as doubting yourself. That thought that appears in silence: “What if I’m not that good?” “What if it doesn’t work this year either?” “What if everyone is moving forward except me?”
Fear doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it whispers. And when it whispers, it gets into your decisions, your focus, and your confidence.
Doubt appears when you are stepping out of your comfort zone. When you are growing. When you are trying something important.
It is not a sign of lack of ability. It is a sign of courage. Because only those who dare to try feel doubt.
It’s easy to look at others and think they are going faster, selling more, or have it all figured out. But you aren't seeing their fears, their sleepless nights, their mistakes, or their processes.
Every project has its own rhythm. And yours is valid too.
Confidence doesn't arrive before you act. It arrives after.
When doubt appears, ask yourself:
Why did I start this project? What have I achieved so far that used to seem impossible? Am I comparing myself out of inspiration or out of fear? What small step can I take today, even with doubt?
Moving slowly is also moving forward. Fear doesn't mean you can't. It means you are growing.
People who build solid projects aren't those who never doubt... they are those who move forward despite the doubt. And that is also leadership.
